Grasshopper made the very different Killer7 on GC/PS2, published via Capcom. Apparently there's a new interview with them in Edge in which they talk about their next project - a adventure game for PS3 targetted at an older audience, inspired by Franz Kafka's literature. They've only shown artwork sofar:

And a description from Jeux-France (babelfished):
This new game of action and non-linear adventure is inspired by open and the worrying and confused universe of the Czech writer Franz Kafka that Suda Goichi admires much. The player will be thus plunged in a village obscure which it will have to traverse with a torch to reach a castle and to discover his mysteries. Thanks to the power techniques of PlayStation 3, Suda Goichi intends to stress the graphic style (textures, drawings of the characters, decorations, etc.) of Kurayami so that the player can truly feel the darkness and darkness, the concept of the fear will play a very important part in the play. About thirty people work in this moment on this project, the title is intended mainly for a rather adult audience.

I've been wondering what Suda Goichi was up to next. It's really nice to see games like this, it just seems like it'll be very unique and interesting. Hopefully the game's graphics come as close as possible to matching the art-style. Seems like a lot of the inspiration may be coming from Kafka's "The Castle".
