Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows Update Catalog - Scanning & Installing updates locally

    Hey all

Is there any tool that scans / installs the updates from a local source? The idea would be to have an update disc that could be run without connecting to WU. If there isnt such a tool I could write a batch file to install them? This is directed towards Win 98 / ME not 2k or xp.

    Thanks

You could setup WSUS if you had a 2000 Server handy

The switches for patches changed a lot from early to late 98 so you would have to look up then individially if you want to script an unattended install.
