Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just to clarify about mp3 sites (considering there was a spate of them posted recently on boards), unless you can prove that they are legal in Ireland, don't post a link to them.

All of the Russian websites are dubious at best. I must bring to attention the typical line taken in their terms and agreements of "This company does not possess information on the laws of each particular country and is not responsible for the actions of foreign users." Which in basic terms means it's legal in Russia but probably not anywhere else. So please don't link to ANY site that does not have a solid legal standing in Ireland.

Official sites of bands, record labels, distributors and the likes of iTunes et al. are all allowed.

Fan sites, the aforementioned Russian sites, P2P programs and other illegal downloading options are not allowed. Users who post them will have their posts edited and, depending on the situation, will receive a warning/banning as appropriate.

Also note that guitar tabs/sheet music/lyrics databases are also covered by the same rules due to ongoing legal issues with the publishing industry and the internet.

Also, under no conditions may you post looking for copyrighted material on any other form of medium. I don't care if you're going to trade a bootleg for a bootleg or a copy for a copy, find someplace else to do this sort of thing.
