    It would be a bit awkward trying to describe this.
    Your options are: have someone show you or if its a case that you want a fitted dpc checked out then get another opinion from a good builder or splash out and get an architect/engineer.

    If its for work you want to do then go to a good book shop where you can get DIY books that will show you this detail
