Sockets in the Library

    If anyone's in the Law section on the 2nd floor...
    You might have noticed they turned off the power to the plug sockets at the walls as people were tripping over the wires.
    Anyway, there's a guy in front of me who's managed to plug his laptop into a plug on the ceiling.
    I tried to take a pic but my camera phone can't pick it up.
    He must be really tall as it's a long way up to the plug!

    Made me laugh anyway.

    Yea hate that, though sometimes if there's four sockets one of them will still work. Didn't think you'd be slumming it in the library:p

    I always wondered about those sockets in the ceiling... They're all over the library, every few 'ceiling blocks' (if that's the right term). maybe they were there to taunt the vertically-challenged before the rewiring last summer!

    Wish i could see it but I'm stuck in the silly daedalus cos I couldnt get a seat over there and my battery was low!

    Here is it, bad photo though.
    There should be cord running between the two circles, but the camera couldn't pick it up.

    That's why it's dark but not why it's fuzzy, in truth it's still much better than my phone. I can also imagine the surreptitious manner in which the photo was taken didn't help!

    Pffft thats not the law section. Thats the 'didn't get the points for law so I did BnL' section. Tragic really.

    Hate when they do it in the law section. There is one guy who always uses his laptop and he types as if he hates the think. *SMASH* *SMASH* *SMASH*....doesn't he know you gotta treat it like a lady.
