    Hi,
I'm looking for a very small water pump that will be silent and ideally battery powered, I could always do a bit of DIY if it's not though. Does anyone know anywhere I could get one within the next week? I tried Fountain and Decor but they are a long way away and by the sounds of things they don't have what I'm looking for. It's for a very small indoor water feature and it will need to fit in a space with about 50mm high of water. I'd appreciate any feedback on this:)

Mate of mine got one on ebay, much cheaper than an supplier here. But it was mains powered and for quite a big outdoor pond.

We have used small 12v battery powered inline pumps in the past. They had crocodile clips on them to attach to a car battery. I think they were got in caravan/camping supplier or a marine supplier.

    Similar to these here

what about windscreen washer pumps?? cheap and low voltage. Failing that, u can get small mains powered pumps that u can submerge. Had one in a small indoor water thingy once. Got it in woodies.

Hi, thanks for all the help. I got one for €44 () but it's exactly what I want (although not battery powered), but that should hopefully be easy enough to do a DIY on. It's supposed to be really good and if I find something to do the same job for cheaper, I can bring back the other one, under a lot of pressure for this so can't be spending as much time looking for the best price as I usually would:o

    Cormie,

my old folks got a solar powered very small fountain for their garden in UK - probably from B&Q or similar. Maybe also try Woodies here or homebase? You could strip out the pump on that perhaps.
