Where can i get a car battery?

    Anyone know where I can buy a new car battery for a VW somewhere in South Dublin? Is a garage the only place to get one?

    Any motor factors, most tyre fitters. Don't go to the maindealer which is the most expensive option.

    Cheers for that. I'll check them out.

    Do I have to specify that i want a new battery and how do i know they are giving me a new one and not some old one they took out of another car.

    I know I sound very suspicious, but i have good reason to seriously question places that have done stuff to my car.

    You'll know a new one by the look of it - clean. They only deal in new batteries. The'll probably fit it for you. What sort of VW, year, etc etc...
