Security incident involving a 20ft container?

    Was waiting for my bus on the south quays this evening at 19:40 and a lorry passed by with a 3 or 4 Garda motorbike escort clearing a path.

    The lorry was carrying a 20ft Eucon container but it wasn't exactly in the best of shape! Looked like it had exploded or something (top gone and buckled outwards)

    Anyone else see this?

    Yeah, that may well have been it. And there was another bridge strike yesterday too. One or the other I suppose. Nothing more sinister. No need to call in CSI: Dublin :)

    i also heard of this, so it might over well been the container been brought back to the port.
