    hi all,

    quick question

    is a full EU licence the same as a full irish licence??
    was reading my insurance policy (quinn direct) regarding "driving other cars" and it states you need a eu licence. if it is a different licence does anybody know were to get, cant seem to find anything on the net.

    it just means a licence from an eu coutry... eg. an irish licence is a eu licence......

    An Irish licence is an EU licence. It's to ensure that the vehicles category letters are standardised, i.e. B=Car, C= Rigid Truck, C+E=Artic, D=Bus etc.
