The friend of mine who got me the tickets through his job was offered to come backstage after the show but only him and not anyone who was with him. So he passed on it. That's friendship.

A girl I used go to school with went to the Paris gig and someone got talking to Danny Carey and his wife...
anyways, yadayadayada, apparently they said they'd be in Ireland in Novemeber....

well MJK said "see you in November" at the end of the set at NovaRock, and they are doing a US tour in autumn, so im hoping for a proper European tour in the winter. and i agree with John. anywhere but the point. Ambassador wouldnt be three bad.

I was at the gig in Paris and I can easily say it was the best show I've ever been to ( even if Maynard did seem a bit pissed off) Le Zenith is a great venue for a concert, no matter where you are in it you have a great view of the stage. Me an my friends managed to get within ten feet of the band with ease. It was an extremely loud show, my ears were ringing for about an hour afterwards. Just hoping they actually come to Ireland in November, I need another Tool fix.

Le Zenith is ok once you stand in front of the stage and not too far back, otherwise the sound is muddy as hell. It's a nice sized venue though. When I was told about it by my French friends they made it sound massive but it wasn't that big.
