Noisey Wooden Floors

As a neccessity I am currently condisdering improving insulation on upstairs floor due to loud noise downstairs from the pine floors upstairs (impact/airnourne noise) . Appears floor was installed directly ontop of joists! - hse 2 yrs old. Have considered false ceiling but as have down lights now considering lifting T&G…

Any typical costings or advise and ways to improve situation appreciated.

Moy and Kingspan do thermal insulation rolls and slabs. You should find db refs on their web sites.
