C++ question is it being incremented ????

I was look through a piece of c++ code and i came across this : in this code is num beiong inccremented orr will it just test the if ? also will num be incremented even if the if staement is not true ?? all help apriciated -Elfman

Num is incremented, but after it is compared to 10. It's incremented regardly of whether the condition is true or not.
