Right look at it this way.... Rough guess .....

    Bodywork €10000

I'd imagine he has acceleration in mind.

Whatever ya fag.Your just jealous you cant cough up 75k on a car.Just shut ur mouth:D

Ok i'm a fag? I wanted a big car so I drive a 2.5ltr car. You drive a small girls car. Stick as much bits of expensive plastic on it as you like, it's still a poxy 206. I'm not even bothered enough by your insecurity to report your post, thats how sad you are.

I'm sure his friends are mighty impressed. I could (note could, I dont have much desire to) get to 60 in a little under 10 seconds. But I'd wager that while were both doing 75 on the motorway, I'll be doing it more comfortably in my motorized couch.

That's exactly why I love my VW Passat TDI Auto!!!

Even at 230 BBHP (Barry brake horse power ;) ), it's going to torque steer it's way into the nearest ditch, especially with 18" wheels on.

    Go you! :p

And the last place you want to be in a crash is a 206.

Yep. It's going to be a sad day when I have to go find a replacement for my safrane. Ive looked at newer high end cars and they just dont have th esame type of feel.

Might have to do that. The 2.5 engine in the safrane is a Volvo (from the s70 I think) so ,seeing as they dotn make the Safrane anymore, I may as well buy a whole Volvo. :D

You'll be impressed with the Volvo.

    5 times FA next!!

This is going WAY off topic..............

Seriously, is that what you drive?? My great uncle used have 1 of them, and a renault21. The rest of the family hated his cars, lol. They always reminded me of barges they were so long and handled somewhat like a boat. Heh heh.

back on topic, its up to them young lads how they spend their money. Personally i`d rather have a standard enough Integra type R or Prelude or scooby or something jap and fast or even 5different class standard-ish cars for the E75k but each to their own. If i was a millionaire i`d find it hard to justify such expense like that. Fair enough if the car cost E75 but if the mods cost that sort of money, hmmmm.

I personally think if you had of just done them up to look like the Wrc rally 206 or something they`d look class. In white with the wrc graphics and stuff.
Hey Wez, you own the green 1 yeah, just out of interest whats your opinion on the yellow one?

    Anymore questions???

Ha, ill still kick your ass if theres a speedbump on the road :D

saw the two cars in traffic at deansgrange tonight, hahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahaaaa!!!!!!!!!
    75K??!! what the crap?
The pair of them driving together, sure who else is gonna want to be seen with them.
Why not just buy a real car if you like that fast sort of thing. Just cause your 22 doesn't mean you have to drive a shopping trolley car. In fairness they are really clean installs, body kits and paint jobs are real neat. But a guy that does his his car like this would go to a minister's funeral dressed in feathers

350 odd bhp in a front wheel drive car... hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha - that is the stoooopidest thing ever read.
Give me a shout when you try to get it off the line with any sort of revs....
230 bhp is pushing the limits with fwd.. what with torque steer and all.
Nice effort put into the cars though, you must be sh1ttin money or braindead to spend that much on any 'regular' car.
ps what do the piston rings think of the nos..

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,791 ✭✭✭prospect

I think you guys are being a bit hard on wez206 here, and I would suggest that alot of it is jealousy that he/she can afford the €75K claimed cost.

This is probably because you associate modified cars with scumbags, and because you assume sucmbags have no money. Well this obviously disproves those theories.

Well, personally I wouldn't spend €7,500 on the cars, but then again I couldn't afford to spend €75,000 on anything.

So I say fair play to wez206, and best of luck with the car. Its his/her money & his/her choice.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,894 ✭✭✭Kersh

I can come up with 75k in a few days, and seriously, 75k on a 206 is not smart really... no matter how much money you have.
I doubt the nos makes any difference, and I would love to see the dyno sheet that shows the claimed bhp.
The cars do look lovely, and the work done is a million miles above 90% of the crap driving around Ireland, but 75K.....

Imagine how they would feel If one of the little S**Ts that key my car did it to theres .................OMG 75k on a 206, no cant see that been justified too much money they have . Can you imagine going in for the car loan ( thats if they need one) "Can I please have €75,000 , i want to buy a 206" lol

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,089 ✭✭✭✭Cyrus

His attitude here in the few posts he made did very little to disprove the modified car driver as scumbag notion, in my opinion. If anything, he reinforced it.

As for the cost of the car, well, given that it's a Peugeot, I'd say half the money went into sorting the electrics out and repairing the window in Halfords. :D

Agreed man! way to harsh, the car is class, even if it aint a persons taste, look at it-it's class.
