Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not to drag the other thread off topic :D

As far as I can see it England would then get 3 teams straight to the groups stages. It is not clear from the UEFA website as the rules have not been updated.

Last year if Liverpool had finished 4th they would have been top seeds and 2 other teams would have been straigth to the group stages.

The winner of the CL gets automatic entry into the CL, 2nd place isn't affected. If the winner of the CL has already qualified automatically through their league (Barca), then Scotland get the free automatic place. If Arsenal win the CL they could be knocking Spurs and Celtic out of next years. :)

Spurs and Celtic? How would it affect them both?

I was referring to 2nd place getting straight into group stages - I think they do

The top 2 in England get into the group stages, Arsenal winning the CL doesn't affect that.

If Arsenal win the CL then Spurs are thrown into the UEFA cup if they finish 4th. Celtic will have to go through a qualifier. If Barca win the CL then Celtic are into the group stages and Spurs get into the CL qualifiers (if they get 4th).
