Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kinda weird to have not have the usual last w/e relegation battle isn't it?

Can't feel sorry for any of the 3 teams that went down. They were all rubbish and I doubt anyone will be missing any of them next season.

i wont miss birmingham at all, they've been a pain in liverpools ass for 4 years. hopefully liverpool make a move for pennant, he's the best of a bad bunch

Alan Curbishley will not the manager of Charlton next season.

Jamie Redknapp -- worst pundit ever?

My over-riding memory of this weekend will be Ruud Gullit's expression of pain every time Redknapp interrupted him - genius.

    c'mon Bolton!!

Its a great game so far. Bolton should be ahead - they've had 2 or 3 good chances.

I disagree, I think it's been pretty poor! Spurs have been woeful, Bolton all over them.
I missed the first few minutes, is Jenas injured? Murphy hasn't been playing well, he's given away possession a good few times.

    Lennon scores.

dam. Lennon was it. 1-0 Spurs.

Very even second half. Good goal from Spurs, but Bolton are still threatening.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭mr_angry

100%, guaranteed, stone-wall penalty for Bolton. Not given!

    :(:(:(

Stone-wall penalty #2 denied... this is definitely Spurs day!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

Missed the start of the second half, only came in as Lennon scored. I noticed Robbie Keane go off at half time....injured or what? Also, nice to see Reidy back in action.

Funny, isn't it? Defoe's perfectly good goal at the Reebok ruled out for offside, Bolton denied a stonewall peno at the Lane. Had both sets of officials got the calls right, the two clubs would be 1 point worse off than they are now (2 draws in stead of a win apiece)

    :D

    Today's matches:
Sunderland vs. Arsenal - 5.15 (Sky Sports 1)
West Brom vs. West Ham - 8.00 (Sky Sports 1)
Man United vs. Boro - 8.00 ..........the only one not being shown

I'm going to predict Arsenal, the Baggies (you know how relegated teams always seem to bounce back when they have gone down) and maybe (hope I'm not jinxing United) a spanking for Boro since they will be fielding a weakened team and United are hurting after saturday.

The FA should stop Boro putting out a B team, Liverpool still have a narrow chance of finishing second, or they would have.

And jeopardise a possible double in Europe for English teams, the FA will possibly send some players to them for tonights game and get well cards for the others :D

Just like they should stop Liverpool from fielding a weakened team in any cup comptetition, or resting players say before a big game with Juventus last year, but they don't, it's football, deal with it.

It defies belief how unbelievably bad Sunderland are. Arsenal have been dreadful and are 3-0 up at half time. I reckon Wenger might just break with his substitution policy and make changes at half time, this is like training ground practise.

They look terrible alright. Arsenal are in cruise control at the minute and are still 3-0 up.

Looks like Diaby's season is over, broken leg I reckon. His foot appeared to be hanging off after Smith's tackle.

Unconfirmed reports are saying that Diaby's ankle is broken and will be out for at least 4 months :(
