hey , thinking of getting someting to avoid the traffic,
was thinking about one of these , honda zoomer,
antone know if they are available in ireland , if so where ?

any are they any good

I was looking at getting one of these myself last Oct. They weren't available in Ireland for ages but are now. I emailed info@hondaireland.ie and got the following reply...

With regard to your recent inquiry. Yes the NPS-50 (Zoomer) is available in Ireland.
The retail price is €2499 including VAT and VRT.

I have a mint 2006 red zoomer (yellow one looks gay if your a bloke and black one looks like its been stripped down . Red is the best colour!)

4 stroke quiet bike ! no 2 stroker oil burning rattles or noise. Just smooth clean fun! 5k on spotless frame and bike! No mods bike standard.

Zoom around in near silence quiet 4 stroke. Loads of kit to mod them in Japan and Europe. Stroker kits, 200cc transplants, dragster long wheel base, mag,s, mad bars etc!
Tough as boots aswell, Honda bike never let you down unless you drive it into a wall.

When you're talking about a 50cc, 4 stroke is a bad thing! I wouldn't be advertising the fact and shouting about it!
The zoomer is a cool looking scooter though, always one parked outside the government offices across from the merrion hotel

shouting ? its a moped, a quiet one, not an oil burner. Acceleration as wooly as a sheep. Dont get your leathers in a twist. Drive a car its better.

Well, this is the 3rd time you mentioned it like it's a good thing! I didn't get anything in a twist, just pointing out that I think almost anyone would rather a 50cc 2 stroke. :pac:

Bro has a Zoomer. 40 something km top speed, but very manoeuvreable, where most bikes can do a u, it can do a figure of 8. I wish the US 125 was available here.
