Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless Range Problems Since Firmware upgrade

I have a Zyxel Prestige 660w wireless router and Digiweb broadband. I upgraded the firmware on the router a couple of months ago and ever since I have had trouble with the broadband connection over the wireless network. Unless I sit less than a few feet away from the router I can't access the internet.
I used to have no problems accessing it from my bedroom which is on the floor below. It still shows up that I have an excellent wireless signal in my room but no luck getting the broadband to work over the connection.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Firmware version of router, make and model of other wireless clients connecting to router and are there any other WLANs in your area or DECT cordless phones?

F/W Version: V3.40(PE.10) | 10/28/2005. I'm connecting with an Intel pro wireless 2200BG card on a Dell laptop. There is five or six other WLANs that i can pick up from nearby houses. I've tried changing the channel so as not to conflict with any of those but it makes no difference.

Think I recall it being said here that the 2200bg's had a problem not clear what it was...

Yea some early driver's for intel cards weren't great. Go to intel.com and download the latest drivers for your card. See if that helps.
