Car loan - payment protection?

    Hi all,

    I took out a car loan (finance) with Permanent TSB the other week and chose not to include Payment Protection. I'm having second thoughts about this and would like to add PP onto my loan. Is it possible to do this or is it an option at point of sale only?

    try phoning the bank - I know I was told about my mortgage that I had to take it out within 3 months of the start date. Not sure if its the same for car loans

    best option is to call the bank.i think you can add it now.
