Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I need to get a wedding dress in less than 5 weeks - before anyone asks, yes, I should have got this sooner but for various reasons I have not got it yet. I know that I am looking for a gothic style dress ideally in chiffon.

    Any suggestions of places in the central Dublin area or Kildare - they also need to be wheelchair accesable for my mum. Thanks.

    You could try e-bay, but 5 weeks doesn't leave a lot of time if you get a bad fit.

    There are lots of options online, such as this;

    Oxfam on Georges st have a wedding shop. It is upstairs, but I'm sure they would allow you to bring things to the ground floor for your mum to look at.

    Sorry I couldn't help more.

    What's your budget?
    When you say gothic, I take it you want a black dress?
    Have you any pictures of what you're looking for?
    Have you tried Monsoon? Do a lot of wedding/evening wear and chiffon seems to be used in a lot of their clothes. Downstairs is wheelchair accessible although most of the evening/wedding stuff is available. Can't remember if there is a lift. If not, the one in Dubdrum is wheelchair accessible.
    PS - congrats ;)

    This crew may be of use http://www.dreambridal.ie/

    They sell "once worn" wedding dresses, no waiting, ready to take there and then. I think there are franchises throughout the country in people's homes, so there may be one near you.

    Have a look here for links and information on a few bridal dress shops and designers in Dublin.

    Uncoventional, but what about going with a very smart suit?
