I have just bought a 99 daewoo lanos for a snip

Problem is alternator is not working properly...

I want to get the whole thing serviced and fixed

Does anyone know how much this will cost and a good garage to contact?

It will need to be collected too as the (new) battery is totally flat

Don't bother with a garage (unles you mean you want the whole car serviced), you need to take the alternator to an auto electrican, they can get the car working with a battery booster and or you could do what I did in similair cirumstances - remove alternator get taxi drop off alternator and collect later that day. A reworked alt will cost about 50-60 euro.

    Mike.
