Problems accessing www.boards.ie

I've been unable to access www.boards.ie since late last week and have been stuck using pie.boards.ie instead (which is running painfully slow). I'm on BT.

I've given up on the www also and use pie.

Even that is god awfull slow at times,it gets stuck with the head banner and the links to subbed and other categories being all you see on the front page for instance and sits there for ages with everything below that blank.

I'm okay but have used the wang. prefix once or twice lately.

Same here now. www started timing out, so I switched to pie and we're flying along.

Ok. Strangeness.

I edited my hosts file to point www.boards.ie to 82.195.136.251 (pie.boards.ie).

When I try to go to www.boards.ie now it still times out, but when i go to pie.boards.ie it is much faster and all the images actually load (ie the 'post reply'/'report post'/'quote'/'make new thread' buttons and the cloud image in the top left).

I can only presume this is because pie defaults to load all the images from www.boards.ie even though it has them locally or somesuch.. but yeah, intresting all the same.

<edit: nevermind, I'm a moron. I didn't leave enough time for firefox's cache to update. www.boards.ie (ie the redirected pie) works fine. I return you to your regular viewing>

All three (wang, www and pie) have been timing out for me every few clicks tonight. www is the worst followed by pie.

I use www.boards.ie most of the time and especially tonight it's been sluggish. Once it gets going it's grand though.

was doing the same on me all yesterday an seems painfully slow on and off today. No biggie. (On eircon bb)

'tis incredibly slow for www right now, pie.boards.ie seems to be going decent though.

I was using www but it took about 5 minutes to load a page. pie is going fine though
