Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My favourite one ever! It's never on these days. Haven't seen it in years.

EDIT: I'm so excited I forgot how to spell Simpson

EDIT again: It's on Sky One...Whats wrong with me.

You're kidding, right? They show it all the time. I've seen it several times in the last six months or so alone. Maybe you're just not watching enough television these days or something and keep missing it! ;):D But, trust me, they do show that particular episode fairly regularly, especially on RTE 2.

Would have been difficult considering about 15 minutes of the episode took place around them :D

It is a brilliant episode. Especially when "Everything is beautiful" comes on the radio as Homer becomes more and more stressed. Classic.:D

    Yeah, Season 4 would be like 1993 / 1994.

No way.. Season 9 is definitely more likely!

I had noticed that this episode hadn't aired much too. Remember hearing something about the 9/11 implications.

    sure enough, from Wiki:

    Post-9/11
This episode was made several years before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Due to the central plot being a dilemma that Homer has at the World Trade Center, the episode was retired from syndication in several areas in the United States (many fans thought that the episode wouldn't air again). After several years, some stations began to air the episode again. Examples include the San Francisco Bay area where the episode did not air again until the summer of 2005, and the United Kingdom, where the episode did not air again until August 7, 2005 with several cuts. The episode still hasn't been shown on terrestrial in the UK. Some stations have taken to airing a version with all references to the twin towers removed.

    man thats good Khlau Kalash.
great episode, one of the few thats stood up to repeat viewing, even the old classics now are getting tiring thanks to skys constant repeats

yeh couldn't be 4 as i have 1-7 on boxset so i would of seen it.

but anyways i can't wait til whatever season this one was in - 9 or whatever - comes out on DVD as all them episodes are pure gold, nothing comes close to beating them.
