Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

According to newspaper reports coming from Italy, Samuel Eto`o wants to play for Milan next season, as the Cameroon player offered himself to the Rossoneri.

The Barca star has contacted Milan directly, and the Italian giants are more than willing to welcome the striker to their squad.

The Rossoneri were keen on signing an attacker, with Ronaldo topping their wishlist, but with Eto`o ready to join them, the Brazilian forward will have to forget about Milan.

Why would a player under contract directly contact another club looking for a transfer?

Why would he leave a club that has won back to back Spanish championships and might possibly win the CL to join a team that will be in a rebuilding period?

Every Barcelona player in the first eleven seems to be linked with a move away from the club this week.

Maybe he is sick of reports of Henry joining, and fellow players saying they think Henry is joining. In a team where they only play one striker, he needs to be that striker.

Ihighly doubt he will be keeping Leo Messi or Ronaldinho out of the team, so if Henry did join, that's it, he's on the bench with Maxi Lopez and Guily.

That is bull**** and so is that pathetic source. Goal.com = Utter ****.

And if Henry went to Barcelona, they wouldn't drop either Ronaldinho or Eto.

They would simply play Henry in Ronaldinhos position on the left where Henry always finds himself anyway and move Ronaldinho central which is his natural position and keep messi on the right and possibly even drop Deco.

I offered myself to Milan once. :D

Eto'o scored the winner against Celta Vigo last night and looked fairly chuffed about it, can't see him leaving tbh, Henry or no Henry.

Eto'o offers something much different to Henry. Argue all you want about who's the better player, but they are pretty different and I think they'd compliment each other well.

Well Calciomercato, Gezetta and a few other papers ran the story yesterday, thats where goal got it from.
Doesn't mean it's true but when he was at Mallorca (and owned by real) he said they team he dreamed of playing for was Milan, so it's no so unlikely.

Agree entirely. had this discussion with a buddy recently. was thinking eto'o out and out striker, henry in his usual left wing forward position, messi in his usual right wing/wingforward position, Ronaldinho playing everywhere given attacking free role and then Xavi and Edmilson or Van Bommel holding the central midfield. Would be quite similer to what they have now but stepped up a notch, with Deco dropping to the bench.

It's the only outcome. Suggesting anything else is just madness.

    Eto'o
    Henry

    Ronaldinho
    Messi

wonder if henry could handle not being undeniably the best one there
he's so arrogant at arsenal, that wouldn't fly at barca

he probably could, the thought occurred though
