Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I'm just wondering can anyone help me out, my computer is infected with spyware/popuper. When i run adaware and spy sweeper, they find the popuper so i delete it etc but it is still there, does anyone know of a good way to get rid of this, i have a flashing icon in my sys tray and it's basically hijacking my home page and flashing up error reports from sys tray saying critical error etc on computer. From spy sweep log, it shows the following;

    20:17: Starting Registry Sweep
    20:18: Found Adware: popuper
    20:18: HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\browser helper objecta\ (2 subtraces) (ID = 735573)
    20:19: Registry Sweep Complete, Elapsed Time:00:01:32

    I delete it but then when i sweep again, it comes up clean but if i leave it a few mins and sweep, it comes back?

    Any help be appreciated.

    thanks

    try this. download smitfraud fix here http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php
    unzip it and run smitfraudfix.cmd. When it loads press 1 to search. when it is finished it will display a log. If you see FOUND next to any files reboot into safe mode and run it again. this time press 2. to fix. That might work. Do the search anyway to see if you find anything. Good Luck
