Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Im running xp on a pretty good machine(amd643700+,1gb ram) and recently enough i had a bit of a virus problem but that seems to be sorted out now. Now something wierd is happening. When i turn on the pc and launch an app it loads but nothing comes up. If i click on another or another, the same thing. Then after a few mins they all pop up together. I was thinking of doing a fresh install because its getting very annoying. Im thinking it could be a problem with the svchost service but i dont know. anyone have a clue?

open task manager, go to processes and arrange this list in order of cpu usage.
try starting a program then and let us know if anything else is using excessive amounts of cpu

Apart from the System Idle Process that is.

I did that and only system idle and the app are using cpu. wierd thing is though it only seems to be happening to internet related apps(firefox, ieexplorer, outlook) Its very wiers. And once one launches its fine after that. there are no more delays. Its just an initial delay. I dont know why.
