Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Greatest YNWA my arse. :) Great atmosphere but Celtic sing it better. Not one Celtic fan sings it wrong or stops at the wrong time. :)

Xavi: “The atmosphere generated by the fans in Celtic’s stadium for our visit was the most impressive I’ve ever witnessed. The grounds of Liverpool and Manchester United are good and the hostile feeling of playing against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu is also excellent, but the atmosphere against Celtic was the best.”

Gerard: "I am happy we finished strongly to win but the incredible thing was the people. They are so animated. They could see their team could not get the ball but still they stayed behind them. We could all learn from that. For an opposition player it is quite incredible. I have not seen a better atmosphere from the grounds I have visited."

They reckon the best YNWA at Celtic Park was the Valencia match in the UEFA cup. I don't think it ever made it's way onto the net. Here is a different version sang by Milan fans:

I agree with Eirebhoy tbh, the Celtic fans do a better version and they really know how to generate a majestic atmosphere, not saying that Liverpool fans don't, just that Celtic fans do it better.

well. u mention the words "you'll never walk alone" to anyone who has any interest in football, and the name celtic wont be the first one that comes to that persons mind.

Spelling and grammer is great as well

Think you will find there is alot better atmosphere in the World than that, Celtic has been mentioned, Croker on a good day, Milan, Rome, Barca, Madrid etc etc etc

Wonder what Nunez thinks about YNWA?

Yes but I think the real question is "how many of them have seen Carousel?"

Also did Gerrard hit his head off the top of the tunnel entrance towards the end?:)

As they say on the internet "LOL".

As for comparing atmospheres. It's a bit impossible to be honest. One thing is for sure, the atmosphere in Anfield, and Liverpool, that night was something else.

It's rare that you would have two such rivals competing against each other, at such a late stage of the best club competition in the world. I was lucky enough to be there that night, and I can safely say that nothing I have ever seen before or since has come even close.
