Okay, so KH2 was due to be released later this month, that has been the scheduled date for a long time now. Even places like play.com have had the release date as that. Now it has been pushed back till the 4th of august. FFS. It's out in the states now. Why the **** can't it just be released in europe at the same time.

Because games, boxes and manuals all have to be translated into 16 (or so) languages for Europe. A dumb and painful fact of life for us English-speaking Europeans.

Still, just lets us spend more time with Dragon Quest VIII and Oblivion, eh? :)

well i guess they could release it here in Ireland and the UK at the same time as the US but obviously they are putting in French, German, Spanish and all that Jazz but that cant surely have delayed it til August.

    Strange one alright

It still has to be localised for International English (changing organization to organisation etc).

Squaresoft also have to do their excellent PAL conversion by adding borders and slowing it down by about 20%. It seems to take SE ages to do that despite the fact that homebrew NTSC to PAL iso convertors do it a lot better. FFXII is supposedly out in August. Expect a delay on that as well. While I'm waiting I'll be playing DQVIII and be finishing it 16.777777% quicker than the rest of you. Approximately.

Like speed is particularly important in a turn-based RPG :)

True but usually during SE don't even bother timing the music which ends up a bit slower not to mention some noticable flicker from the image being built up. Borders are the most annoying though.
