I'm looking for a site that provides a comparison of offers from broadband providers in Ireland (price, download limit, etc.), something quite comprehensive that will help me make the best decision.

Also, has anybody had experiences with Onspeed?

I don't think such a site exists, not comprehensively anyway, though perhaps Ireland Offline have such information.

You'll have more luck in the Broadband forum too.

Onspeed is a waste of money and time. It won't compress 90% of whats on the Internet as it's already compressed. Only text or uncompressed image formats would speed up.

http://www.broadband.gov.ie/bbinfo/ServiceByLocationSearchWF.aspx this can tell you what's available in your area.

The Examiner have a fairly good comparison table in their Money and Jobs section today.

The IrelandOffline website is being redone at the moment so there's nothing on there but while not comprehensive, this page from my own site might be useful:

I'll be updating in a week or two with more details but hopefully by then the new IrelandOffline website will running.

Just checked out that site there as I actually used it myself after seeing it mentioned here before. Coverage looks fine and dandy doo to me bar most of rural areas only having satelliite if your not a BB user :p
