Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think WWM hit the nail on the head, best for Spurs fans not to watch this game

Zamora misses when he was clean tru.

Does anyone think that Spurs are playing at a sluggish pace which could be due to this morning's food poisoning incident? I'm asking because I only got the chance to tune into this match at half time and West Ham look to be firmly in control of the game everywhere but the scoreboard.

    PS: G'wan teh Spurs.

Carrick, Dawson, Kelly and Keane all showing the effects of food poisoning or injuries.

On that note, Carrick is subbed for Andy Reid after Davids makes it clear to Martin Jol that he is fit to continue! :D

Le Arse all over Wigan every time I flick over to that game, destiny in Spurs hands alone.

Think it was more a case of Carrick having made it clear he couldn't continue, Davids pointed it out rather forcefully...:D

I'd give Davids a 9.2 for that one there.

For christs sake. What are spurs like. They're playign a team that have nothing to play for and an fa cup final next week. You'd think they'd be hammering them. Gob****es.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,473 ✭✭✭Roddy23

If Arsenal do manage to come fourth, they should send a few bottles of the good stuff up to Upton Park. Reo Coker has played brilliant.

Ye its harsh alright. To get so near, and then have it taken away like that. But it has been a good season for Spurs in fairness.

Sorry to rub it in, but I'm suddenly reminded of a joke from a few weeks back...

Whats the difference between Spurs and a squirrel?
The squirrel has Champions League experience.

Very disssapointed, but in reflection would I have been happy with fifth and uefa euro footy next season (at seasons start) - YEP!

Would have been great to finish in front of Le Arse, but will take 5th and euro footie as it is.

Great end to the season for Arsenal, ye'd nearly feel sorry for Spurs.

Its hard for Spurs fans to take but it has still been an excellent season for them and im sure if Spurs were offered UEFA Cup football at the start of the season they would have taken it. Hard luck to them but with such a young side they can only get better.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Ah bad luck Spurs still, at least they are in the UEFA Cup cos of the league not a Arsenal CL win....

As for Pool another win and thats 11 games in a row (9 prem), so my prediction of a strong finish came true. Thats a club record btw! :)

    Final scores

    FT Arsenal 4-2 Wigan
    FT Aston Villa 2-1 Sunderland
    FT Blackburn 2-0 Man City
    FT Bolton 1-0 Birmingham
    FT Everton 2-2 West Brom
    FT Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough
    FT Man Utd 4-0 Charlton
    FT Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea
    FT Portsmouth 1-3 Liverpool
    FT West Ham 2-1 Tottenham

    Mike.

I'm gutted for Spurs, would have liked to see them in next year's CL. They were a shambles today.
