    There's so much in lear: the contradicting characters , the question on wheather not cordalia is the one to blame, edmund as cold rather than evil. Then there's pesimisim v oprimism v realism. There's nihilism, and the exploration of justice and omnipitance. Lear is a timeless play. If you don't understand it, watch fight club, its quite similar in the philosophy and psycology. Best work on the leaving in any subjest. This year anyway.
