This SUV isn't a secret or anything, just don't think a lot of people know of its existance. It's called the Lexus GX470, and as the name suggests, it has a 4.7 V8 engine, mated to a silky smooth auto box.

Exterior differences from the Toyota Land Cruiser are minimal, the front end gets an LS430 style grille and headlights, the alloys are different, and most obviously the rear end gets the spare wheel mounted underneath the boot.(as in the UK model LC5) and the rear bumpers lose the (superflous) second set of tail lights. the high mounted tail lights are slightly different to the Cruisers, but I'm guessing they're interchangable.

not too different looking!

Inside, it's fairly similar to high end Land Cruisers, but I suspect better sound deadening is used,

i drive a landcruiser and its exactly the same layout inside
arent toyota and lexus the same company ?

yeah, the machines are the same, just the Lexus version has different engine, slightly different bumpers etc. and interior trim.

In Australia the Landcriuser Amazons are badged lexus and all have the V8 petrol
They sell lower spec land cruisers 100 (the big ones) badged as toyota- you can pick 2 year old models for about 20-25k euros at the government auctions
