Hey people the leaving cert is exactly one month away from today! I think its really hard to study at this time of year with the weather and just generally being wrecked. Has anybody got any tips on getting yourself motivated to study?! When I notice im just staring blankly at a book or just moping around the house I usually motivate myself by just blaring some loud music like the scientist or clocks by Coldplay or go on quick run with the dog! I reckon being aware and lively studying around this time of year will make all the difference in getting the grades.

I used do that last year, I'd put some music on really loud, but usually some hard optimistic metal type **** that'd get me going... But it is really hard to motivate yourself...
My motivation this year, is the fact that it's my second time doing it and once it's over, I'm going to Prague the day after, so I'm kinda striving for that more then anthing else! :p

IbanezFreak i know what you mean, im sitting here instead of studying. Its hard to get properly motivated for study because i know tomorrow i got my construction practicle, and it keeps poping back into my head. Last week I had 3 deadlines to meet, Its been a pain in the ass so far, only thing that keeps me going is the fact that I know if i screw it up, im gonna have to do it again!

I havent done any study at all yet. Plan to just cram a week before the exams start. Hopefully (God Willing) I'll get into my college course before I do any exams.

Im doing 4 hours after school everday, saturdays night (I have to function sometime during the week) and then 4 hours on a Sunday.

I did all my work last year, which I think was really worth, actually comes in use :P. I only need 330 points to be on the safe side.. Lads we can do it, once we graduate the real pressure will start, Im sure this is nothing we are feeling right now!

I'm just doing 2 hours of supervised after school and then an hour-hour and a half after that. And only about 3-5 hours on weekends. So much to do!

I graduated on friday and it doesn't feel any different for me,but I like you only need 330 points. And with 6 honours subjects I'd be ashamed not to get it
