Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    From PWI:

Legendary wrestling manager and all time great promo man Jim Cornette has agreed to terms with TNA and will be debuting soon for the company in an "authority figure" role. Given Cornette's ability to cut fabulous promos and his ability to sell storylines, he should be a fabulous asset for TNA.

Hopfully it won't be too long before he gets on the booking comittee too. Good news for TNA though.

    PWI clearly think he's fabulous!:D

Seriously though, this is tremendous news for tna! James E will most definitely make his presence felt with the company. With someone like Cornette on board, particularly if he gets on the creative team, TNA will be able to up the anti big time and make some ground on WWE.

That's big news. Cornette's more of an old school guy though, not sure how he'll fit into TNA. Genius though

Thats a great move. Cornette showed his passion for wrestling in ROH recently so he still has it. He even got a tooth knocked out of his head by Necro Butcher! At leasty TNA will now have someone capable of cutting a promo now, and hopefully this will get that retard Larry Zbyszko off our screens. Kill him Raven Kill him!!!

Oh yeah, didn't occur to me til now that he's going to be in that "public face of TNA management" position. Or whatever it was they called it. Good stuff

Perhaps, an old school influence would be good for TNA at the moment.

It's been posted on the ROH message boards that Cornette is still committed to ROH beyond this year, and he has agreed to work a limited number of dates with TNA

Sweet. Cornette came in to jazz up the tag team division in ROH and I could see him doing the same in TNA. They seem to be going that direction these days with Styles and Daniels teaming up last week. This could also be a way to get new blood involved in the X Division.
