jap import and VRT/tax

i know that you pretty much get linched when you bring an import direct from japan with vrt and tax, but what about jap cars with a UK reg and v5 doc? i know that you pay more vrt as it was originally japanese [€650 vs. €1050 in the case of the car i want], but do you pay any other taxes? all help appreciated... dave

If its from the uk and has been registered there then no,just vrt on arrival here
