To keep things up to date:

had a couple of bad weeks start of November, however, in the 18 months so far I have only lost about 24hrs in complete downtime.

Since the upgrade to the network I have the strange anomoly that when playing games online my ping shows to other users as very high, even though it is not. This can only be proven by the games never lagging, however, I do tend to get kicked a lot. Not sure if this is down to the BattleNet servers or Permanet to be fair.

Eircom have just installed so I should be able to get DSL soon, however, I dont see any competiton to Permanet at this point based on upload.
