    Folks,
    Due to my increased commuting now I have been forced to look at buying a diesel car. I would have liked an Audi or maybe a Passat but couldn't bring myself to spend the kind of money they are commanding (Especially the Audi) as we are building a house at the moment.

    A relation has a 99 Toledo TDi which I could have at very resonable money ( I think) and would keep me going for awhile while the house is being finished. It's the newer model which I think is a very nice car but has highish mileage on it .

    Have any of you here any experience/opinions of this car ?
