    You are missing the point. Insurance is compulsory, you have to have it, there is no two ways about it. If you look at the stats the insurance companies are making huge profits out of a service we are forced to buy. Nobody is making a choice to buy insurance, we make a choice to buy a car.

    If insurance is mandatory, then I can't see how you can seperate between choosing to buy a car and having to buy insurance; I don't see that they are mutually exclusive.

    You have the choice over whether you buy a car.

    If you buy the car you don't have the choice to buy insurance - its compulsory.
