im guessing air for the moment, the way they say intel sucks for gaming, will i actualy notice lag in game with one of these beutys overclocked ? i mean like playing bf2 with a 7900gt and 1 or 2 gid of ram if not these are on the list:eek:

No, you won't. Not as good as AMD for gaming but that said, some people get the impression that intel offerings can barely run games

You'll be able to run games at high no problems.

Well I've been moaning about building an amd system for the past 12 months or so but I just never get around to it, thinking its maybe a good thing with the new chips out and around the corner...

I'm still using a 3.4 p4 and run all my games on high settings no problems.

Gline, my mate AK got one in PEats and clcoked it to 3.8 with meduim range DDR Ram straight out of the box with watercooling! tend to be a little hot ! I'm sure you'll get 4.0 no problem!

finally got the rig up and running with the triple rad, temps are 32 degrees idle @ stock but i only have 1 fan on the rad, gonna have another and the current 1 is pointing the wrong way i was a bit hasty in getting it up and running, i hope to start ocing tonight hopefully

booting @ 4ghz @ 1.5vcore so far not a bother, havent hit the limit yet

nothing seems to get it over 4ghz temps are only 37 degrees, but no amount of vcore will see it to 4.1 or 4.2

on the plus side, my ddr2 5300 kit runs happily @ 800mhz with a little voltage bump

the only thing holding me back id say is the cheap mobo, mhz are fluctuating

awell it will do me for a good while
