Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    liverpool dont look sharp at all, particularly Alonso, who we could see replaced by didi. we are giving WH way too much room and they are thriving.

    We look tired and maybe suffering from nerves. hopefully should be a good second half, with extra time ahead maybe?

    Alonso is'nt on his game for the most part, but Riena can look embarassed for the second goal too. Pushing Cisse wide left was a good idea, Kewell is more useful floating. If Hamann came on for Xabi I would'nt be shocked.

    Dunno but the rules state (that in the unlikely event of an 11th pair) all 11 have to take one before repeating so Harewood will have to if need be.

    Aww, heart goes out to to harewood, dragging himself back onto the pitch like that, he almost deserved a goal.

    I think penalties is the best way to settle this, neither team really deserves to lose but someone has to, nad a shoot-out is best way of sorting that out. Great match from a neutral point of view, full credit to both teams.

    Liverpool were happy to go to penalties, before hand I predicted that West Ham would miss all theres and I wasn't too far wrong. A great final that no team deserved to lose to be honest. Gotta feel sorry for West Ham. That really is no way to win a final.

    Very tough on WH. Better team for the 90mins but nothing they could do for either of Gerrards two goals, second in particular.

    Pepe Reina 7 pens of 9 in Villareal. He is an excellent keeper in a penlty situation and was superb for that last save onto thepost.

    Fair play to the pool, 62 games this season, all over with a trophy.
