Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Last night my built in broadcom 54g wlan card stopped working after i was in the bios changing a memory setting. It has being rock solid for the past couple of months since i set up my wireless network.

I use wpa encryption but i cant even get connected to my netgear wrg614v6 router with all encryption settings off, so im pretty sure that its not an encryption problem. the device seems to be installed ok and i dont think its a problem with the driver (im using x64 but the os has a driver for it) and the driver has been working hassle free until now.

Could something have happened when i was changing the bios settings that messed with the wireless card( i checked the bios and the wlan card is enabled)? Cant test an updated driver as there is none available:rolleyes:

Im totally lost at what it could be. If anyone has any ideas please post, as im not far from ordering a new netgear pcmcia card.....

Isn't there an option to restore default settings in the bios? If its there why not try that and work forwards then towards the settings you want? Before you do that have you checked that the wireless card is showing up as ok in the device manager? have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the wireless card?
