Thinking of getting this done as our grass is a nightmare. What is involved and what exactly needs to be done? Any good suppliers? We have a guy to do it but have to buy the materials ourselves. Anywhere good to hire the mini digger from?? Thanks in advance for any info!

Edited to add..just read the post below but Im looking for idea on price as to waht someone charges for doing this? PLus is it better to rotovate rather than dig it all up with mini digger?

Got it done two years ago. Basically Kill off the weeds and leave for a week or two, Remove old grass, Rotavate, Level off and lay the new Turf and Water well. Its well worth getting done especially this close to summer. The Lawn usually is delivered on pallets by whoever is growing it. The DIY stores and garden centres may stock it but its usually much dearer than a commercial grower. I know a supplier advertised in Buy and Sell all the time
