Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Why are they 3-1 to win tonight that sounds crazy to me?
    anyone have any background on their match tonight with Sevilla?

    Sevilla are at home. THey need to win to still have a chance of a champions league place. Barca have the title wrapped up and are playing the Champions league final on wednesday. So expect their best players to be rested/ to take it easy if they are picked to play.

    No Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco, Puyol, Marquez, Edmilson, Gio, Giuly.

    The squad is:
    Valdés, Jorquera, Iniesta, Van Bommel, Oleguer, Gabri, Larsson, Ezquerro, Maxi, Rodri, Xavi, Belletti, Montañes, Sylvinho, Ludovic, Martos and Motta.

    I wouldn't expect Valdes to start either.

    If Seville qualify for the CL they get into Pot 2 ahead of Celtic. :mad:

    30 minutes into 4 Spanish games and they're all 1-0 to the home sides. :)

    None of those games matter though regarding the CL.
    Sevilla - Barcelona and Osasuna - Valencia (Tuesday) are the games that matter.

    If Valencia win, Sevilla need four points from the Barcelona and Real Madrid (Tuesday) games. If Osasuna win it wont matter because they have a better head to head than Sevilla (1-0 in both games).

    Barcelona have nothing to play for. Valencia have second place to play for. Sevilla might do it, they've been playing well as of late. 6 points from these last two games is attainable. I'd feel bad for Osasuna, who have been in the top 4 all season, but if Sevilla do it they'll have deserved it.

    Barca gave Sevilla gaurd of honour, then stood in same line as barca players and gave them one.

    Shame they out there to lose to make sure Osasuna dont get into the CL, its all geography :)
