you can fee templates at http://www.oswd.org/
take a look at the code and see how things work and then forge the things you like together

    thanks Rollo

Downloaded a few that looked ok

however when I open them up with dreamweaver they are all over the place
so cannot edit them to my own specifications

Something I am doing wrong ?

    Thx

    http://www.templatesbox.com/

Their graphics and table layouts are inflexible so you will need to do a bit of work to get them the way you want them. But nice enough designs all the same.

http://www.templatemonster.com/ is pretty good for a wide range of templates (not free)

http://www.openwebdesign.org/ - check the popular designs sections.

Also when checking the popular ones, check the designs for links to the designers websites, you'll sometimes find a further range of templates there.

dreamweavers design mode is very flakey sometimes about editing pages not originally created in dreamweaver -

its best if you can to learn to hand code.

If you see anything you like at http://www.ttemplates.com/ PM me with your email address and I'll send you a download link. (Templates would only be for your own use. Not for sharing or selling to anyone else)

    Thanks for the links

Not that up to scratch or close to knowing about Flash or CSS

Know the basic html codes thus the reason I am using Dreamweaver

Using Dreeamweaver 4 but would MX be better as I have that somwhere

Also can anyone take a look at the site and tell me whats wrong with it
and I will muck around with the design

    Thanks
