    Hey all,

Well maybe the answer is really obvious, but I have a chipped PS2, its NTSC-J. Used it in Australia and had no problem with it, playin both PAL and NTSC games. But now I'm home and it still plays NTSC games ok, but the PAL games are coming in in black and white. Would this be my tv? Or would I have to get one of those NTSC to PAL convertors?

    Any help would be great!

Its your TV, buy a RGB scart lead and it should give you a colour picture.

Are you sure it's a real RGB Scart cable and not just AV. If it is RGB then it's your TV that doesn't support 60Hz NTSC output.

the cable is coming out of the av socket and its a scart plug into the back of the tv. im not really sure why its not working cos, like i said, it plays the ntsc games i have grand, so why wouldnt it play the pal ones

Where did you buy the cable? Does it go from 3 seperate connectors into an adapter then into scart?

no it just goes straight into the scart. My brother bought it, cant remember where but id say it was either Game or EB.
