Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Okay so it looks like Acii Disco is going to be around for a while! After the extremely warm welcome the new HUB club night has received over past weeks, and with a next three weeks jam packed with guests, the hi octane disco seems to be making quite a name for itself around the city. Past weeks have seen local DJs from Dublin’s club scene spinning alongside resident Al Keegan for top quality hands in the air parties with that Acii Disco vibe still very much in place and things going off right! Over the next three weeks the night will welcome an array of top DJs and live acts from all over. May 20th sees the first instalment Kriece stopping over on his world tour to make his Irish debut in the club.

As a DJ he has played alongside such names as Sasha, John Digweed, James Zabiela, Carl Cox, BT, Dave Seaman, Dave Clarke and Lee Burridge. As a producer he records solo and collaborates with people such as James Zabiela, Jeff Bennett, Basek, America’s Earth Deuley & Tongut label boss Apoll and is now involved in a project with James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli. Kriece is best known for his massive remix of Aphex Twin’s “Windowlicker”, which James Zabiela included on his recent Renaissance Mix CD “Utilities”, he is a prolific Dj / Producer with world wide credibility. Support on the night comes from Dublin based DJ/ Producer Ger Stokes aka Sylinder. You can find out more here www.kriece.com

The following Saturday May 27th electro swine Dancepig will be showcasing his by now infamous live set with support on the night from Electric Citys Barry Donavan. Dancepig's unique blend of italo/electro/techno influenced tracks have been causing a stir world-wide including tingling the loins of one David Carretta. Aside from the release the Electrolites EP on his own label (www.kingnail.com), early in the new year Carretta's label Space Factory is set to release Dancepig's debut international EP featuring remixes from Abe Duque and Carretta himself. During his performances expect to hear live vocals, FX and synth magic as Le Swine takes you through a mix of his original dance music repertoire. Dancepig has played alongside the likes of Dr.Lektroluv, The Hacker, DJ Serge, T.Raumschmiere and David Carretta.

And if that’s not enough Saturday June 4th sees Paul Woolford aka Bobby Peru return to Ireland. This I’m sure will be a big one, with an approach and attitude that is slightly different to most, Paul Woolford aka Bobby Peru has established himself as one of the most original dj/producer/remixers that house music has exposed in recent times. He is considered a DJ ace whose multi-layered electronic sound has garnered him praise from all corners. A music obsessive and aspiring DJ from an early age, as a teenager he was inspired by seminal club Back to Basics in his home of Leeds, and never looked back, he soon moved on to a residency at the club, with production work, and gigs around the world soon to follow. Paul is a major talent and prolific artist with a string of releases such as “For my bleeps” and “Erotic/.Discourse” on many major labels. He's also well known through his many fantastic essential mixes on BBC Radio 1, mixing up the house, techno, electro and breaks in fine style. Paul will playing a 2 and a half hour set with support coming from Rob Hawk.
