Pighead would hope that Tough Sarky featuring Great Beruthial would sing Every Breath You Take(I'll be Missing You). I'd have no problem if the song was fantastically received at the funeral and they decided to cash in by releasing it as a single. I would however ask that all proceeds be donated to boards. xxx

    Pighead: Man of the people.

Why Me by Linda Martin. A very apt question considering the circumstances, and you are guaranteed to have everyone crying. (not out of sadness though)

"Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. Was played at Blue's funeral in Old School. Classic, and if I can get Will Ferrell to sing it - bonus.

Id rise from the coffin and walk out of the church if Jack Johnson was played.

Megadeth - A tout le monde and system - Roulette would be the 2 songs Id really want at my funeral , neither too heavy so that`d keep the family happy but both very nice songs , well I like them :)

And then bring on the chilling with Dimebag on a cloud and having the miller on tap :D

Verdi's Requiem; if not all of it, at least Kyrie eleison
Hallelujah/ Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley
You'll Never Walk Alone - preferably the version by Carreras, Domingo and Pavarotti
The Show Must Go On - Queen
Tears in heaven - Eric Clapton
And solely for my sister, You're My Best Friend -Queen

It'll be a long ceremony getting all that into it!

"Dead" by they might be giants.

And any form of contemporary jazz, maybe Allan Holdsworth.

Then the Power Rangers theme, just for added coolness.

Would have to be "100 years" by 'five for fightin' just so a few people know it after the funeral. great song

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,403 ✭✭✭✭Princess Consuela Bananahammock

Life of Brian song, already mentioned

    Plus...

U2 - Beautiful day... have it finish a few seconds before I leave the church and then, just as peopls think it's finished, the merrie melodies "that's all folks!" tune.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
