I am looking to get a MTB. I need it to be strong and lite. I am 16st and 6' so lets just say I am a big lad. My budget is about 1k. I would prefare to buy in Ireland. Thanks.

Glad somebody else mentioned the Hoss first, I've recommended it a few times already. It does seem to be aimed at this exact market.

Where are you based? There are a few more Kona delaers dotted around the country.
