    Hey
I do honours chemistry (not that I have a clue about it) and my teacher was saying she thinks the bleach titration and water recrystallisation titration have a good chance of coming up because they haven been up yet!!

Does anybody know if this may be true?? Or does anybody else think this?? Please help Im screwed!!

on the topic of chemistry, just need to clarify if you can bring your own log tables into the exam or are they provided....for electronegativity etc...cheers!

as for predictions Ive heard stoich 2(limiting reagants) and balancing by ox numbers is due an airing.

they provide you with log tables. you cant bring in anything with you other then stationary.
go back over exam papers yourself and have a look at what hasnt come up and try and work out a pattern, best way to do it.

I would put good money on Equilibrium coming up. It's been up 8 out of 10 times in the last 10 years and everyone keeps making a mess of it. So they put it up again.

I think either clove oil or soap is likely and definately the water recrystalisation, and the dissolved solids thing in Water is apparently being tipped which is awful because we haven't even done water yet and we won't get to do the experiment.

the water chapter is sooooo easy....it took us one class to go over it!! If your teacher hasn gone over it...look at it your self...really its not that bad...and this is coming from a person that knows nothing in chemistry!! Good Luck x

the water chapter is undoubtedly easy but actually most students do score badly on this question as they dont know the details.
so if u were going to do the water question i would suggest u study it in great detail.

THe same goes for atomic theory, my teacher recommended that we didnt do this as there is so much detail in it and if u dont have wording right then u could do badly.

oh and bleach definitely is coming up

Why do you think that bleach is coming up? I heard water of crystalisation from a load of different people. They cant both come up.
