    Great news.

Have used Metro both at home and in work, excellent service and top lads.

Just to add they've upped the speeds on some packages as well.

Xpress is upto 8mb from 6mb. The popular 'Metro' package is still at 3mb, but a nice price reduction.

I like the waiving of the installation fee as weel.

It is aggressive marketing by Digiweb.

If only I could find out what the quality of the phone service is like....

Quality is good, but not reliable enough to get rid of normal phone...

Well I have to say I would have preferred if they kept the original price and provided us with a decent phone service then I could cancel me contract with Eircon thus saving myself €25.00pm on line rental. But I can't because the phone is s***e. So am I a winner here? NO. I still don't get what I signed up for. Should I feel grateful No ? And I won't until that day comes.

Can you connect an ATA and use Smarts VOIP service or is it tied down in that respect ?

I presume you can stick on a wireless access point ?

you may indeed plug in an ATA and use a VoIp provider such as Smart or Blueface.
