Does anyone else get considerably different results between SpeedTest.ie and IrishISPTest.ie? I get a much more stable (and faster) result from Irish ISP Test whereas my connection is all over the place on SpeedTest.ie.

Good site though! Looks like my broadband connection is only slightly faster than my old modem today... :(

tbh, I instantly switched to speedtest.ie as soon as I heard about it.

The registration stuff on irishisptest was rather irritating, I'm not interested in my speed history.

Plus, trying to get people to register for it over the phone, then perform the speedtests proved to be too much hassle.

Well, people's definitions of "ads" seem to differ a bit :)
